Dummer Village Hall Dummer Village Hall in its current form was rebuilt 25 years ago from a previous wooden hut provided for farm workers called the Reading Rooms. It is centrally placed in Up Street, Dummer with regular classes and activities ranging from dance and yoga classes, to celebrations, village plays and music nights. Transport Dummer has exceptional transport links and is a quarter of a mile from Junction 7 of the M3/A303. To the back of Dummer the road takes you to the A30 leading on to A33/A303 and from A33 to A34 near Winchester. In addition Basingstoke Train Station is just 20 minutes away by car with direct links and fast trains to Waterloo London via South Western Railways with on average 2 to 3 trains per hour taking around 48 minutes to reach London. London Heathrow airport is just over 40 miles away and on average, traffic permitting, and under 40 minutes by car. Stagecoach Buses runs a village bus route through the village on a Monday, Wednesday and Friday between 10-10:20am outward and return in the afternoon from the bus station. Times and days may vary so please check the website for information. There are three bus stop locations in the village. The junction of Bible Fields and Tower Hill Bus Shelter by All Saints' Church Bus Shelter as you leave the village in Down Street Timetables are available in the bus shelters or check the Stage coach website.
