Breathwork Workshop Sunday 12/Apr at Dummer Village Hall
We all need time to STOP…and breathe. To take a moment in our busy lives to listen to our bodies and connect with the messages it is sending us to maintain our wellbeing. The problem is that all too often we don’t do this and then we become stressed, get aches and pains or get sick!
Join Liza, she helps people of all ages and walks of life but is particularly passionate about empowering care-givers of children on the Autistic Spectrum. Having continued to love and support her youngest son for the past 25 years, she knows from my own experience as a parent and carer, how important it is for you to allow yourselves to put your well-being needs first and have your energy overflowing before helping your loved ones and all others.

Dell 10km & Half Marathon 19/Apr

The Dell 10km is back on April 19th and joined by a Half Marathon from Dummer Down Farm in the beautiful Hampshire countryside. Our hosts, Dummer Down Brewery, brew the awesome Dell Lager from which the event takes its name.
We have two amazing trail runs for you, taking advantage of private farmland, trails, woodlands, fields and local roads. The finish back at the taproom will give you a thirst-quenching reward, including a medal, a pint cup & a beer to fill it with! Alcoholic or Non-Alcoholic options available & all included within your entry fee.

Badapple Theatre Company - Crumbs Thursday 23/April 7:30
Dummer Village Hall and is excited to announce that Badapple Theatre Company will be performing ‘Crumbs’ at its hall on Thursday 23rd April at 7:30pm.
‘Crumbs’ follows the life and times of our heroine, an ex-TV baking show host who has recently been “let go” from a high-profile TV show under dubious circumstances. Now trying to re-style herself within the fast-paced and cut-throat world of influencers and social media millionaires, we follow her hilarious slips and trips in her live baking show as she tries to keep the lights- and the oven- on in the face of almost certain doom…
Tickets £15 for adults and £8 for under 16s.
Bar will be provided.

Dummer Golf Day Friday 24/April
There are many golfers in the village playing at various clubs or societies.
As a result a special village golf day has been booked on Friday 24th April. There are five tee times currently booked from 12 noon at Test Valley Golf Club. Registration 11am.
There are 20 spaces available. Green Fee costs for non members is £46, including £6 for coffee/tea and cakes. TVGC Members pay £6.00.

Prize giving and a new trophy for the village to be displayed in the Queen Inn after a celebratory meal and presentations. Contact Mary for more information. It is hoped, that if this is a big success, we can make this an annual event playing at other local clubs including Basingstoke Golf Club.

Dummer Adult Rock Choir - Thursday 30th April 2026 7pm-8:30pm
Professional Choir Master, Sue Williams, will be running the choir at Dummer village Hall on Thursday evenings during term times.
Singing popular songs this weekly fun evening will surely delight everyone whether you can sing or not...it's all for fun.
All villagers and surrounding area are welcome so please come along.
Scouting & Guiding Multi Activity Day - 09/May

BEASTLY is the largest Scouting and Guiding Event in Hampshire taking place on Saturday 9th May 2026 at Dummer Down Farm (near Basingstoke), bringing together over 1,700 young people aged 4 to 17 from across multiple districts and groups.
BEASTLY is a multi activity day where participants can try out a whole range of activities from Archery to Climbing and Virtual Reality to Zorb Football.
BEASTLY turns 5 this year, and we can’t wait to celebrate it with you!

Late Spring Festival Saturday 23/May
The Late Spring Folk Festival is a one-day live music event bringing together local communities, artists and families to celebrate musical innovation, good food and ancient crafts rooted in the world of folk at the eve of summer.
We are entering our fourth year, having started with one small stage in a Wiltshire pub, and grown into a multi-formatted event at Dummer Down Farm, that welcomed around 500 people in 2025; 2026 will see more big changes including a new craft market and a large expansion to the 'Hay Bale Stage'.

Dummer Down Brewery is hosting it's 2nd Brewery Festival on Saturday 4th July 2026.
Last year's event was so popular that we are going again! There will be food trucks galore, numerous local breweries, live music and entertainment. Tickets will be on sale in due course but those interested should follow the Dummer Down Brewery Instagram page for updates. Tickets do sell very quickly so once advertised get in quick to avoid disappointment.

Enjoy a mid-summer feast, cooking outside and celebrate the food provided by Worthy Earth Market Garden.
£70 per person.

Valhalla Viking Festival is a non-profit event organised by UK Viking company Skull Vikings.
Back for another year the 3 day Viking festival, focuses around a great Viking Feast each night, the Gods and Viking activities to give our community a special kind of event to come together and celebrate. Viking crafts, music, boat burning, reenactments.
Because sometimes you just need to do Viking stuff with your Viking friends and family, right?

Lead by popular band leader, Sue Williams, it promises to be another evening of more games, more beer and more fun!
